How gentune.net collects, uses, stores, and shares account data, billing details, prompts, lyrics, generation records, and analytics information.
Last updated: April 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how gentune.net collects and processes information when you browse the site, sign in with Google, generate music, or purchase a paid subscription. The policy is written to match the current product flow in Gentune, including Clerk authentication, Stripe billing, Replicate generation requests, usage tracking, and Google Tag Manager analytics.
If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the service. Continued use of gentune.net after policy updates means you accept the revised version from its effective date.
Information we collect
Gentune collects account and profile information needed to run the service. When you sign in, Clerk may provide your account identifier, email address, display name, username, and avatar image. Gentune stores the user identifier and profile fields needed to maintain your session and account state.
Gentune also stores service activity generated inside the app. That includes your prompts, optional lyrics, selected model, generation status, generation timestamps, usage type, subscription status, plan tier, billing period, and generated audio URL when a result becomes available.
Billing information is processed through Stripe. Gentune stores Stripe customer identifiers, Stripe subscription identifiers, plan metadata, subscription dates, and subscription status. Gentune does not store your full payment card number.
Cookies and similar technologies
gentune.net uses a locale cookie to remember your language preference and uses Google Tag Manager to support site analytics and conversion measurement. Depending on your configuration and user journey, analytics or advertising related technologies may collect device, browser, referral, and page interaction signals.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect login state, language persistence, checkout attribution, or other site features.
How we use information
Gentune uses collected information to authenticate users, operate the AI music workflow, enforce free and paid usage limits, save generation history, process subscription purchases, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve the reliability of the service.
Gentune may also use service data to measure landing page performance, checkout completion, campaign attribution, and product demand. Marketing measurement is used to understand whether ads and product pages accurately reflect the service and to keep acquisition spend tied to real conversions.
- Provide account access and session continuity.
- Send prompts and lyrics to the selected generation provider.
- Create and manage Stripe checkout and billing portal sessions.
- Track subscription quotas and generation activity.
- Monitor abuse, fraud, failed payments, and platform misuse.
How information is shared
Gentune shares information only with service providers that are needed to operate the product. Authentication data is processed through Clerk. Subscription and payment information is processed through Stripe. Music generation inputs and related request metadata are sent to Replicate so the requested model can render audio. Site analytics and conversion events may be processed through Google services connected with Google Tag Manager.
Gentune may also disclose information when required to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, enforce platform rules, protect users, or investigate fraud or security incidents.
Data retention
Gentune keeps account records, billing records, subscription history, usage records, and generation records for as long as they are reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with accounting, tax, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Retention periods may differ by data type. Billing and transaction records can remain longer than product usage records because financial reporting duties usually outlast normal product sessions.
Your choices
You can stop using the service at any time, manage your paid plan through the Stripe billing portal available from the subscription area, and control certain cookies through browser settings. If you need access, correction, or deletion support, use the contact channel published on gentune.net and include enough account information for verification.
Some data cannot be deleted immediately when retention is required for fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax reporting, bookkeeping, or other legal obligations.
Security and international processing
Gentune uses commercially reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the service, but no system can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for protecting your own account credentials and devices.
Because Gentune relies on third-party infrastructure, your information may be processed in countries outside your home jurisdiction. Using the service means you understand that international transfers may occur where permitted by law.
Children and policy updates
gentune.net is not directed to children under 13, and the service should be used only by people who can legally agree to these terms in their jurisdiction. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to do so.
Gentune may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version published on gentune.net controls from the effective date shown on this page.
